The Meaning of Life and Me

 

As kind as a philanthropist,

I would assist those who are in need.

Leading a hand to all youngsters and elders,

As I believe I’m doing a good deed.

 

Loyal, like a brand apostle,

Being honest and treating my family generously.

Supporting my friends with no hesitation,

At least that’s why the queen knighted me.

 

‘Courageous’ is my middle name,

Standing my ground against every enemy I see.

Without a glimpse of fear, heroism is in the air,

Brave as a knight in shining denim could be.

 

Ambitious runs through my veins,

I opt to achieve my goals steely.

In hopes of becoming better and stronger,

Even Bills Gates and Einstein claim that I am worthy.

 

Unique and one of a kind,

Fill with colours and surprises,

That’s me.


Description:

    In writing this poem, all of the first line of each of the stanza represents one of my characteristics. Then, I started to build connections between the elaboration of my personalities with the people around me. My contributions towards my family, friends and the society are being showcase throughout the entire poem. The title I've use included the term 'Life', I view that 'Life' should be filled with many aspects and spices in it. My family, friends and the people around me bring out all sorts of flavours and colours to my life. I'm glad to have them in my life and I enjoy it so much.
