ALIVE

Looking around me
A string of moments
Roads clogged with traffic
Crowded people everywhere.

Families enjoying picnics
Children running around
Couples holding hands
Seniors feeling at home

Yet I do not feel alive.

I want to be anywhere but here
Somewhere no on notice me
Nor my mistakes
A place where no one could judge me.

Somewhere I am able to make mistakes
To live carelessly
A space to be alone
Since being alone is where

I feel alive!
